Practicing reading with easy poems
This course gives you a solid base so you may read the Quran smoothly and correctly.

Why Every Muslim Should Have Noorani Qaida

What You'll Learn in This Course (Full Course Outline)

Module 1: The Arabic Letters

You will learn about all 29 Arabic letters in their simplest (isolated) forms. You will learn how to recognize the difference between letters that appear the same and letters that don't. We will also look at how each letter looks at the beginning, middle, and end of a word.
What you'll get:
You will be able to easily discover and recognize all Arabic letters in any word.

Module 2: How to Say Letters (Makharij)

You will learn how to pronounce each Arabic letter correctly (Makharij). You will learn how to create each sound correctly and where each letter comes from (the throat, tongue, lips, or nasal cavity). To recite beautifully and correctly, Makharij must be done right.
What you'll get:
You will say each Arabic letter correctly, and from the right spot, so you won't make common blunders.

Module 3: Letters that are next to each other

You will learn how to put Arabic letters together to construct words since the script changes when letters are put together. You will practice reading simple words by fitting letters together in the appropriate way and learning how each letter looks when it is in different places.
What you'll get:
If you fit the letters together correctly, you will be able to read simple Arabic words fluently.

Module 4: Harakat; Vowels That Are Short

You will learn about the three short Arabic vowels: Fatha (زبر), Kasra (زیر), and Damma (پیش). You will study how these markers modify the way letters sound and how they change the way words are said. You need to know how to use Harakat to read any Arabic word accurately.
What you will receive:
You will be able to read words with short vowels correctly and understand how vowel markings influence the way they sound.

Module 5: Tanween; Two Vowels

Tanween is when short vowel sounds are repeated at the conclusion of words. You will study about this. You will study about the double fatha (تنوین نصب), the double kasra (تنوین جر), and the double damma (تنوین رفع). This is a prevalent feature in the Quran that adds a "nun" sound at the end of words.
What you will receive:
You will learn what Tanween is and how to read it accurately in Quranic words and verses.

Module 6: Madd; Stretching

You will discover the rules of Madd (elongation), which tell you how long to extend specific sounds. You will learn about short and long vowels, as well as the many forms of Madd and when and how to employ them while you read.
What you will receive:
You will be able to find and use the Madd rules appropriately, giving each letter the right length of time.

Module 7: Qalqalah and Sukoon

You will learn what Sukoon means, which is that a letter doesn't have a vowel. You will also practice reading words that have sukoon letters. You will also learn how to make the echoing sound that happens when five letters have sukoon.
What you will receive:
You will be able to read words with sukoon correctly and utilize Qalqalah appropriately with the five qalqalah letters.

Module 8: Stress and Tashdeed

You will learn about Tashdeed (Shaddah), which shows that a letter should be stressed because it is doubled. You will learn how to say Shaddah correctly and how to find it in words. This rule is very important for reading the Quran correctly.
What you will get:
You will know how to use Shaddah correctly in words and verses, putting the right amount of stress on each letter.

Module 9: Practice Reading

You can use all you learnt in this last module. To get better, you will read full words, short verses from the Quran, and some parts. Your tutor will help you, fix any mistakes, and make sure you are ready to read the Quran with confidence.
What you will get:
If you know how to pronounce Quranic terms and short verses correctly and have a basic understanding of Tajweed, you will be able to read them effortlessly and with confidence.
